Iacaopo Pasqui
Iacopo Pasqui (born Florence, 1984) is a Fine-Art and documentary photographer. Since 2008 he used photography as a tool for critiquing and observing contemporary society by working on medium and long-term photographic projects. He is interested in the use of colour to investigate the relationship between human beings, nature, landscape and social behaviour. He’s the author of several publications and has participated in numerous solo and collective exhibitions. In 2012 won the contest “Leica Talent 24x36”. He has been published by Vice Magazine, L’Espresso, Italian Institute of Encyclopedia “G.Treccani”, Einaudi publishing house and many others. This image is from his recent project “Il Castigo”.
Marguerite BOrnhauser
After studying literature and journalism at the Sorbonne in Paris, Marguerite Bornhauser joined the National School of Photography in Arles and graduated in 2015. In 2014 she left for a 6 month residency in Weissensee School of Art Berlin. Her work has been widely shown : in the streets of Cincinnati (Big Pictures), in Arles during the festival of Photography, in Deauville during the Festival Planche(s) Contact and in Paris at BETC and Agnès B galleries. This image is from her first book, Plastic Colors. It was originally self published and was selected among the 10 finalists of the prestigious MACK First Book Award in 2015. It was exhibited in London at the Science Museum, in Paris at the BAL, in Arles Book COSMOS 2015 and has just been published by Éditions Du Luc.
