After studying literature and journalism at the Sorbonne in Paris, Marguerite Bornhauser joined the National School of Photography in Arles. In 2014 she left for a 6 month residency in Weissensee School of Art Berlin. Her work has been widely shown: in the streets of Cincinnati (Big Pictures), in Arles during the festival of Photography, in Deauville during the Festival Planche(s) Contact and in Paris at BETC and Agnès B galleries. This image is from Supernova. Her first book, Plastic Colors, was originally self published and selected among the 10 finalists of the prestigious MACK First Book Award 2015. It was exhibited in London at the Science Museum, in Paris at the BAL, in Arles Book COSMOS 2015 and has been published by Éditions Du Luc.
